Bio
Ana Bales, MPH, M. Ed., PLPC, received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health from the University of New Orleans. Prior to her work at Loyola, Ana spent seven years in the public health field where her work focused on the impact of early experiences and relationships on growth and development throughout the life course. Informed by cognitive and mindfulness-based approaches, Ana seeks to support clients in empowering themselves by examining their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and identifying ways to shift unhelpful patterns that serve as barriers to well-being. Her areas of special interest include trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, body image, anxiety, and depression.
